He grew up in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, surrounded by the aroma of freshly made sweets and the bustling energy of the sweet shops

Mehul Vyas hails from a family with a long-standing legacy in the sweets business almost 100 years old. He imbibed the art and craft of making traditional Indian sweets from his father Mr. Suresh Vyas , who himself is Law graduate turned into entrepreneur and is also a prominent figure in the Indian confectionery industry. Though the journey of the sweet memories starts way back in 1965 when Late Shri Kundan Lal ji  (Mr. Suresh Vyas’s maternal grandfather ) migrated from Jodhpur to Kota to lay foundation of Jodhpur Sweets in Kota which destined to become most popular sweets shop name in India ( One of the most copied name in India although the Family owns the intellectual rights of the brand ). Inspired by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit, Mehul ventured into the family business and took over the reins of Jodhpur Sweets Pvt. Ltd. as the Director.

Under Mehul’s dynamic leadership, Jodhpur Sweets has witnessed remarkable growth and expansion. Mehul did his schooling from Jodhpur and was graduated as a Computer Engineer Thereafter, he pursued his Masters of Business Administration degree from Lancaster University, United Kingdom.

Having an experience in corporate world, he brought the innovative working culture in to the system. He applied his knowledge in the business and had been instrumental in preserving the age-old recipes and techniques of making authentic Indian sweets, which are passed down through generations in his family. With a strong emphasis on quality and taste, Jodhpur Sweets has become a BRAND that is synonymous with premium quality sweets.

Mehul has also taken the traditional Indian sweets to newer markets, both domestically and internationally. He connected IT to the traditional industry and was among the pioneers in Indian Sweets E Commerce market starting online services since 2013. He has leveraged modern technologies and marketing strategies to expand the reach of Jodhpur Sweets, making it a household name not only in Jodhpur but also in other cities across India and in several countries around the world. In recent Jodhpur Sweets have also started modern retail concepts at Jodhpur and Jaipur Airports thus taking Jodhpuri taste and sweets to wider audience. 

His panache for packaging, branding, and presentation has helped Jodhpur Sweets stand out in a highly competitive market, attracting a wide range of customers. He got the concept of bespoke to Indian Sweets industry and introduced to corporate and events clients. He is a firm believer of client satisfaction and personally ensures that all deliverables are met at par excellence.

Mehul is married to Shradha, and is blessed with two daughters, who is pillar of his strength as well as his business advisor. He is a dutiful son, guiding brother to his younger one Nikhil. He is a firm believer of team work and dedicates all the journey he has travelled to his team, family and friends especially to his Mother Kala Vyas and Father Suresh Vyas. 

Apart from his business acumen, Mehul is also known for his philanthropic endeavors and actively supports various charitable causes and is involved in community welfare initiatives, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare.
