National award for Outstanding Entrepreneur for unit Chemical & Mineral Industries Pvt Ltd. by Council Of State Industrial Development and Investment Corporations Of India (COSIDICI) a joint collaboration among the Central Govt, State Govt and Important Financial institutions, assisted by RIICO  The award was presented by Smt. Shakuntala Rawat Ji Hon’ble Minister of Industries & Commerce, Govt of Rajasthan on 17th Nov, 2022.  The awardees were selected at National level for their contribution to Industry.

How many times have we come across instances where some stories turned into records and those records turned into inspirations. These stories were never about getting ahead of others, but merely breaking our own record. Such is the story of Mr. Rahul Singhvi, who is not only a Director at Chemical and Mineral Industries, but also a record-breaker.

Rahul Singhvi’s expedition from hardwork and perseverance to one of the renowned members of the successful, oldest, and largest Chemical and Mineral Industries, producer of precipitated/ activated Calcium Carbonate and a leading producer of Quicklime, is a considerate ground breaker story. A young and vibrant entrepreneur who took the front seat and threw a masterstroke.

His roots reside in his hometown, Jodhpur, and so does his passion. “It’s often that your mind-set builds you strong, but your roots attached within, add wings in your journey.” And this saying is suitable for a Commerce graduate, turned into a leading industrialist, Mr. Singhvi, who took up his father’s legacy, Mr. Vimal Raj Singhvi. Alongwith his younger brother, Mr. Vishant Singhvi, being young professionals, their approach in management, materials, machinery, finance, marketing and, most importantly, their Marwari intellect and meticulous approach, they managed to challenge stereotypes, turn all the odds against and this has made them a powerful duo of industrialists! His dedication to taking inventory risks and unyielding faithfulness to the industrial area has rapidly expanded his business.

Mr. Singhvi is one of the Directors at Chemical and Mineral Industries Private Limited and looks after the entire operations, administrations and management. His astounding skills and great mindset has created history in the industrial area. “Innovation can convert ideas into invoices.” He expanded his business by establishing India’s first fully automated commercial Lime Kiln of 300 TPD in BORANADA, JODHPUR, in the year 2014 that registered his company in the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS, 2016. This breakthrough succession continued in the year 2019, and he bespoke the potential by establishing the second Lime Kiln with a short span of five years. Thus, enhancing the production capacity to 600 TPD. Today, CMI is one of the largest producers of high purity Quick Lime and Calcium Carbonate.

He is a globetrotter and has travelled to more than 40 countries for work and pleasure and represented India at International conferences hosted by the International Lime Association at Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Istanbul and London. His business strategies are the talk of the town, and he has uncloaked his Rajasthani culture by being recognized as ‘EMERGING BRAND OF RAJASTHAN 2010-2011.’ He is an orator but believes that words are worthless without action and has also been featured in ‘VIBRANT VOICES OF RAJASTHAN’ by The Times Of India.

Through his expanding impression across the state and country, CMI has given the State of Rajasthan an honor by successfully identifying its vast deposits of superior quality limestone mineral that gave birth to white cement plants in the State. His business establishments are a class apart! He is also the director of Kewal Limes and Chemical Private Limited, Jodhpur. In parallel, he is also a partner in Aloe Naturals and Singhvi Exports, Jodhpur. And, considering this, he was honored with the BUSINESS EXCELLENCY AWARD by CNBC.

Mr. Singhvi is a conglomerate of ideas and innovation and an incredible task-bearer to implement it. In 1996, he married Payal Singhvi, and they together welcomed their bundle of joy, Rohan, in 2001. Rohan followed his father’s footsteps in leadership and became Head Boy of his school and is currently in BITS Pilani (Goa). He is already marked his one of milestone by being the author of bestseller book, ‘Quaker.’

His dexterity in innovative ideas and business planning and humankind is  celebrated grapevine talk.  With his great values underneath, he is involved in several other social organizations as well. He has portrayed his social beliefs and ideologies with him and has also mirrored his importance for his lineage. He has been the past Chairman of an NGO, Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Jodhpur, past President of Rotary Club of Jodhpur Midtown and Asst. Governor and Dist. Secretary of Rotary International District 3050. He has also chaired the Rotary District Conference 3053, in January 2016 which was attended by more than 700 delegates from Rajasthan, Gujarat and MP along with dignitaries like Union Ministers Sh. Rajeev Pratap Rudy, Sh. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Chief Minister, Sh. Ashok Gehlot.

Over the years, he has benevolently donated and coordinated projects through the Rotary, providing various lifesaving equipments at different Govt. hospitals as well as furniture and books at Govt. schools. With his philosophy of combining modernity with foundational roots, he is also a member of the Jodhpur Airport Advisory Committee. He is a lifetime member of Apna Ghar Aashram, Jodhpur and is associated with Bal Shobha Grah – an orphanage and Bal Basera – Child Care Home for HIV infected children. He is also associated with various trade organizations, including CII, Rajasthan Chapter, Member Executive Committee and Patron Member at Marudhara Industries Association, Jodhpur. With his strong leadership qualities, he is a Vice-President at FORTI, Vice Chairman of Jain International Trade Org. (JITO), and Secretary at Srajan The Spark, all Jodhpur Chapter.

He is an open handed, generous individual who took the lead in extending a helping hand during this Pandemic outbreak. His hand-outs and heartfelt contributions to the COVID-19 crisis has been a solace to many. He donated to the CM COVIDRELIEF FUND, distributed food packets with other associations and contributed to different social causes related to COVID relief.

From being a young entrepreneur to a successful businessman, Mr. Rahul Singhvi’s motto is “The Industry should be rich and the Industrialist should be poor.” He also believes that his biggest strength is his employees. He not only expanded his business abilities but also introduced his values and culture extensively! And as he believes, “When life gives you a lemon, float a lemonade company and start a lemonade business.” He moulded the business world into a successful venture.

He did not forget his reason. He did not change his narrative.
