Dhanraj Chouhan – Vibrant And Energetic Entrepreneur

Dhanraj Chouhan, a vibrant and energetic entrepreneur built his career and shaped his life through deliberate enterprise, distinctive vision and diversified work. He believed that diversification is the key for the growth of any entrepreneur. Recently Durga Lime Industries Jodhpur has been awarded as the best vendor appreciation trophy by Hindalco Industries Limited in Vendor meet held at Belgaum on 25.5.2022 . Trophy presented by Shri Sanjay Agarwal sb chief Procurement officer (Group head  Hindalco).

Born to Smt. Basanti Devi and Shri Bhoj Raj Chouhan on 1^st February, 1967 in village Jaitaran in Distt – Pali , some 100 kilometres from Jodhpur, Dhanraj Chouhan grew up in a business environment. Legacy plays an important role in making a man perfect, there is along tradition of generations spread business and social awareness in the family.  His grandfather seth shri Pukh Raj Ji Chouhan was chief of 24 villages surrounding Jaitaran and established a huge transport business owning 100 + Buses in early 60s . He had the fortune of his grand fathers presence and grew up watching him interact with and help hundreds of people . Dhanraj pursued his primary education from village Gotan in Nagaur district where his father established and running  a Lime industry . Than for higher education he with his elder brother Ram Kishan Chouhan shifted to Jodhpur and done higher schooling from Mahesh Senior Secondary School, Jodhpur, graduated from Jodhpur University , Jodhpur & Finally did his CA in 1990 .

After completing his education he had great job opportunities but respecting his father’s wishes he obeyed him as a respecting son to further explore the family business of Manufacturing of Lime and Hydrated Lime at Gotan . He passionately worked hard towards achieving the goals set by him and soon had a good grip over the business and expanded the family business to the new heights. With strong will power, hard work and devotion towards a desired goal one can overcome every odd situation.

He believed that diversification is the key for the growth of any entrepreneur, Hence from 1993 onwards he rightly started diversifying the business into automobile, Handicraft export, logistics and warehousing. Having a strong imagination compelled with wisdom, dedication and hard work often creates history and with the passage of time every year he added a new feathers to his cap. Today he has two Manufacturing units  of Lime & Hydrated lime plants at Gotan and Manakpur respectively, Super stockiest of Hero Moto corp and TATA Motors for Western Rajasthan, C & F cum service Partner to Amway India for Jodhpur , Udaipur and Kota, and Ware houses Business .

However his visionary nature never allowed him for any pause and the group continued on expansion spree with their newly launched company – Panache biotech Industries Pvt. Limited. This company will be manufacturing DEF ( Diesel Exhaust Fluid ) at Jodhpur and recently had tied up an agreement with NPL for buying  hundred percent of its production for TATA Motors only. Dhanraj has excellent command in generating new ideas and his leadership qualities are great boost to the new entrepreneurs his son Aayush and nephews Nakul & shubham . Currently Dhanraj Chouhan is President of FORTI – Federation of Rajasthan for Trade & Industry of Jodhpur Chapter . Executive committee member for All India Lime Manufacturer Association,  Marudhara Industries Association and The Gotan Lime Manufacturer Association . Member of Jodhpur Industries  Association and Mandore Industries Association.

Success is never ending but giving back to society gives sense of purpose. Dhanraj is  a social activist and had been serving society at his own and through Rotary Club of Jodhpur Midtown . He has served as a President of   Rotary Club of Jodhpur Midtown during 2014-15 and as a Assistant Governor of Rotary District 3053 during 2017-18. Dhanraj Chouhan inherited the social service qualities from his family and always ready to contribute to the needy people in society. He firmly believe that When the people are satisfied , you are satisfied, when you do good , you feel good too . His wife Kalpana Chouhan is also socially active , she is an active member of Rotary club of Jodhpur Sanskar.

Apart from social and business life, he is travel enthusiastic and had been travelling around the world. He loves to spend time at home with his family ,  He is married to a lovely lady Mrs Kalpana Chouhan, she is a Home maker. He is proud father of a daughter and a son.  Daughter, Shikha an electrical engineer married to  Sunil Rami of Ahmedabad and son Aayush completed his MBA from Ahmedabad and recently joined family business , married recently to  Yagya also a MBA.
