‘Will Power Is Not Genetic. It Requires The Will To Resist And The Power of A Resolved Mind.’ One such strong example of will power and dedication is of Mr. Mukesh Madhwani; a renowned name in Lake city. Mr. Mukesh Madhwani, Rajasthan Line Producer, is a vivacious entrepreneur, who sets for himself new goals even before he completes his earlier ones.


When the Madhwani’s came to Udaipur after partition, the erstwhile Maharana gave them a huge place in the Varion Ki Ghati, where horses used to be kept, as a generous gesture to Mukesh’s grandfather Varad Mal.

Mr. Mukesh studied at the Adinath Public School, Udaipur and then shifted to Jawahar Jain Senior Secondary School with Commerce as his specialization as he was interested in joining his family business in future. He then did a one year’s course in Food and Beverages from the Food Craft Institute, Udaipur. He was a bright student all through.


In 1998, Mr. Mukesh got involved with his dad in the family business “Ashoka Group”. Ashoka group comprises of several firms, in which one is Ashoka Bakery which provides finest of cake and bakery products; Ashoka Caterers that serves catering services to Royal weddings, film and television shootings and other corporate events and Ashoka Palace which is an elite venue for wedding/birthday parties.
Being highly ingenious, Mr. Mukesh proposed the idea of converting Udaipur – The city Of Lakes to Udaipur – The Film City. Enumerating the advantages of Film Production in Udaipur, Mr. Mukesh has been honoured by the District Administration for his relentless efforts.
He is one versatile personality handling multiple businesses of Catering, Bakery, Event Management and Line Production as a pro. Besides being a businessman, he is also a Social Reformer and was the Secretary of Rotary Club “Udai” and Committee member of Jacobabad Sindhi Panchayat and Sindhi Yuvaaz.


Mr. Mukesh believes ‘The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of Others’, and with this thought along with an honest endeavour, he initiated M Square Foundation. And with the purest desire of spreading love and happiness amongst not so privileged sections of our society, Being MANAV – An initiative by M Square Foundation was laid.


The brain child of Mr. Madhwani, Being MANAV is a Non-Profit Organization registered under Indian Trusts Act (80 G And 12 AA). Being MANAV has been relentlessly working for the welfare of the society, interest of the underprivileged and benefit of the impoverished.

Mr. Mukesh Madhwani had a vision to bring equity in the society respective to financial, physical and social aspects. He seeks to grow Being MANAV and spread its wings all over the world. Established originally in Udaipur, India; at present Being MANAV has its circle in 27 states of India including New Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Being MANAV also has its esteemed clubs at Dubai (UAE), Nepal, Srilanka, Muscat and Pakistan.

The organisation Being MANAV is working in the field of health through its BLOOD VAN programme, in the field of education through its School Chalen Hum Program and in the economic field through its program of Food for All.

Being MANAV has been benefitting over 15,000 children and their families every year, through its welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, across the globe.

The team of Being MANAV involves local citizens in collecting their unused stuff and later refurbishes and distributes the same among the needy. Setting up and chasing smaller targets one by one, Being MANAV launched its first donation drive on 8th May 2019 at Fatehsagar with distribution of umbrellas and food to the needy. Since then, there has been no looking back for Being MANAV. Two events of Donation and Distribution drives are undertaken compulsorily, every month.
Till now more than 100 cloth donation drives involving distribution of over 5 lakh refurbished clothes and 50 Food Drives involving food distribution to over 1 lakh under privileged have been undertaken.
Another campaign, of ‘Being MANAV’, that is gaining popularity is the Cart of Happiness i.e. ‘Khushiyo ki Gaadi’. Every day, between 1 pm to 2 pm, the team of Being MANAV can be found requesting the citizens passing by the Ashoka bakery corner to grab a bag of clothes or other items provided in Being MANAV’s Cart and just pass it on any needy they come across anywhere in and around the city.

During the pandemic year 2020, making the best use of social media, Being MANAV organized many Free Workshops, on various ‘Motivational Topics’ and their seraphic virtual series, held on 23rd of each month continue to benefit thousands.

Mr. Madhwani has plans for expansion of Being MANAV. They hope to buy a land in or around Udaipur and construct a huge 10 rooms office of Being MANAV. Out of which, 2 rooms shall be utilized to stock up the stuff collected from various collection drives across the city. Keeping in view, women empowerment, 100 – 150 women shall be employed to refurbish the unused stuff into usable form.
Other rooms shall be utilized for processing and output related tasks. A large hall is also proposed to be constructed in the same vicinity where Skill Development Programs shall be undertaken for village women, and Vocational Training shall be imparted to them.
Being MANAV ‘s aim is to serve the necessitous and benefit the impoverished by imparting development assistance which will have a sustainable and positive impact on Society and Environment. Being MANAV wants to provide appropriate and significant support to needy children, women & Senior Citizens by effectively implementing projects in the area of Health and Education.
Being MANAV wants to give wings to the hopes and aspirations underprivileged and empowering them to a better tomorrow.
Being MANAV hopes to strengthen and empower the underprivileged & weaker section of the society.


Mr. Madhwan spends a lot of time with his dear wife Mala,18-year old son Manav, and daughter Yamini.
He says “One can never do enough for Udaipur.” And he propagates the famous statement of Paulo Coelho that “There is only one thing that makes a dream
